The Adapted DANCEPL3Y program was designed to equip Instructors, Physical Educators, and Recreation Providers with the tools you need to teach DANCEPL3Y classes to children with developmental disabilities.

The Adapted DANCEPL3Y Instructor Training includes detailed resources to help you with pre-class planning, song choices, choreography, setting up your space, and delivering a truly inclusive DANCEPL3Y class experience.

physical literacy

DANCEPL3Y Kids is designed to foster each child's physical literacy journey by developing fundamental movement skills, sparking positive social interactions and igniting a curiosity about the world and dance through the exposure to a variety of movements and music from cultures across the globe.

Each successful experience a child has with movement helps build a more confident, competent and motivated mover.

3 rules of PL3Y

In our dance classes, there are only Three Rules:

be positive

be fun

be yourself

These rules help kids approach dance through a growth mindset rather than feeling intimidated.

The rules also help us ensure that kids are encouraged to share the 'most fun' version of themselves as they discover their own style!

Forget 5-6-7-8, refining precise technique or left foot/right foot choreography. This program is designed to inspire movement through FUN, imaginative dances that fuel both muscles and minds. Our DANCEPL3Y Kids Instructors are driven by a passion for positivity, playfulness, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of kids in their community.
